# .up-active

While rendering, the `.up-active` class is added to the [origin](https://unpoly.com/api/origin.md) element that triggered the change.

The class remains set while the request is loading. It is removed when the request [ends](https://unpoly.com/api/up.Request.prototype.ended.md) for any reason.
