# up.Params.prototype.addField(field, [options])

**This feature is experimental**. Please [share](https://github.com/unpoly/unpoly/discussions) your experiences so we know what to keep or change.

Adds params from the given [HTML form field](https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_form_elements.asp).

The added params will include exactly those form values that would be included for the given field in a regular form submission. If the given field wouldn't submit a value (like an unchecked `<input type="checkbox">`), nothing will be added.

### [options.includeDisabled=false] {#options.includeDisabled}

(optional)

Whether to add a field that is disabled.

A field that a [preview](https://unpoly.com/api/up.Preview.prototype.disable.md) disabled is always added.
