# up.motion.config

Sets default options for animations and transitions.

## Value {#value}

### [config.duration=175] {#config.duration}

(optional)

The default duration for all animations and transitions (in milliseconds).

Type: number

### [config.easing='ease'] {#config.easing}

(optional)

The default timing function that controls the acceleration of animations and transitions.

### [config.enabled] {#config.enabled}

(optional)

Whether animation is enabled.

By default, animations are enabled, unless the user has configured their system to [minimize non-essential motion](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/@media/prefers-reduced-motion).

Set this to `false` to disable animation globally. This can be useful in full-stack integration tests.
